Bill McKibben: Put solar on the White House

Bill-mckibben-sloar 'Just Say Yes' To Solar! That's what climate activist, author and educator Bill McKibben is asking President Obama to do, some 30 years after a misguided Ronald Reagan took down panels atop the White
House, installed under energy-prescient President Jimmy Carter. Bill joins us from his road tour
carrying one of the original panels from Maine to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It's hoped President Obama
will see the green light and agree to have new panels reinstalled as a way to put his money where his mouth
is in leading the nation toward a clean energy economy!

We'll also get a preview of 350.org's upcoming action event, 10-10-10 Global Work Party.

Roz Savage, Solo Ocean Rower

Images
Eco-adventurer Roz Savage is back on The Green Front! Just back from Asia where she wrapped up her most recent row, Roz takes a few minutes out from working on a second book to share her unique wisdom and wit with
us.

The solo ocean rower has much to teach all of us about the power of one (“not just a drop in the ocean”) and both her eco-exploits and life lessons will inspire you for years to come.
